According to a tweet posted by the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, fire crews responded to a crash off Highway 154 and Roblar Road Saturday night, just before 11 p.m.
Vehicle Accident, Hwy 154 and Roblar Rd. C/T 2247. 2 vehicles, one on its roof. SBC FF’s used Jaws to extricate 2 victims. 1 patient self extricated, all with moderate injuries. The fire department's Public Information Officer Captain Daniel Bertucelli says firefighters had to use the jaws of life to extricate two victims in the crash, one person was able to get out on their own.
All three of the patients had moderate injuries and were transported to the hospital via an AMR ambulance.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
